James has over 25 years of practice specializing in dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration) and real estate. James has undertaken litigation training from the prestigious National Institute of Trial Advocacy in Colorado (USA) and Faculty Training from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle. He has participated in numerous seminars and conferences around the globe as a speaker and faculty on litigation practice. James is also qualified as an arbitrator from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Kenya. He served as President Uganda Law Society for the years 2011 and 2013. James joined Faculty in 2011 and is the Chairman of the JAU Board of Directors.

Olivia is an advocate of over 12 years and a Partner at Ligomarc Advocates where she heads the Dispute Resolution practice of the firm. Olivia first trained in Trial Advocacy in 2007 and is keen on sharing the knowledge she has acquired over the years. As such, she has been a member of the Faculty since 2014 and the Secretary to the Board of Justice advocacy Uganda. She is a member of the Young International Arbitration Lawyers and the Editorial Board of the Uganda Law Reports. She is also a lecturer at the Law Development Centre where she shares her knowledge and skills with upcoming advocates.

Alinda-Ikanza has participated in planning and presenting trial advocacy programs in Uganda and Botswana since 2011. She heads the Teaching of Trial Advocacy at the Law Development Center and is the CEO of JAU. Linda is a practicing advocate since 2008 and currently practices with Kenneth Akampurira Advocates and Solicitors. She is also passionate about the use of technology to innovate the law and is the founder of Nkola App. When she is not being a lawyer, Linda is a mother to four girls including a set of twins hence the title Nalongo!

Julius is a practicing advocate of over 12 years with Ojok Advocates and an accredited mediator with the Commercial Court. Julius is passionate about mediation and frequently trains Judicial Officers in it. He is also a consultant with the African Union. Julius first trained in Trial Advocacy in 2007 and joined Faculty in 2011 after training in Nairobi. Julius has planned and conducted several trial advocacy trainings in Uganda and Botswana. He is a founding member and Director of Justice Advocacy Uganda.

Mr. David S. Kaggwa holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Masters in Construction Law and Arbitration. David is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of London [FCIArb] and a member of the Center for Arbitration & Dispute Resolution of Uganda. David has practised as an advocate for over 12 years and is a Partner with Kaggwa & Kaggwa Advocates. He first trained in Trial Advocacy in 2012 and joined Faculty in 2013 where he is a Founding Member and Director of JAU.

Ronald has practised for over 12 years and is a partner at Ortus Africa Advocates in Uganda. He has deep knowledge and understanding of the litigation and commercial dispute resolution procedures in Uganda and is an accomplished litigator and advisor. He is also a Mediator with the High Court of Uganda. Ronald undertook Trial Advocacy Training in 2010 and Trial Advocacy Instruction from the University of Washington School of Law and JAA in 2011. He has facilitated several Advocacy Training Programmes since August 2011 and is a Founding Member and Director of JAU.

Emoru Emmanuel is a well exposed trial lawyer in Uganda practicing with WEB Advocates & Solicitors, where he is a Partner. Before venturing into private practice, he dedicated his earlier career life to corporate practice working with Uganda Broadcasting Corporation as a Legal Officer where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Corporation Secretary. He attended trial advocacy training conducted by JAA in 2012 and became a faculty member in 2013 where he is known as "Professor Ejakait." He has facilitated at numerous trial advocacy trainings for lawyers in Uganda and Botswana. Emmanuel is a Founding Member and Director of JAU.

Jude is a practicing advocate of over 15 years and the Managing Partner at Ogik & Co. Advocates and Executive Director at Justice and Rights Associat ion. Jude is also a Member of the International Criminal Court of Justice where he is also Counsel. Jude first took trial advocacy training in January 2015 and immediately joined Faculty after teacher training. He has taught advocacy programs trainings since 2016. Jude is a founding member of JAU where he also serves as a Director on the Board. Jude is passionate about applying Trial Advocacy skills in his trial practice and has been known to win cases with powerful opening statements!
